Ssu-Yu Huang's arrangment of "Lady Ma-Lan" for guitar and double bass was world-premiered at the National Concert Hall in Taipei by Yen Ensemble, performed by Hsiao-Yen Cheng (double bass) and Meng-Feng Su (guitar) on August 20, 2013. Program notes: "The Lady of Ma-Lan," also titled "Ma-Lan Love Song," is a folksong of the A-Mei aboriginal people of Taiwan. The lyrics reflects a woman's yearning, dedication to love, and value for self-determination of marriage. The melody is delicate, meticulous, and whispering gently. Behind the tune is a love story of the A-Mei tribe, which is very touching. This piece is a duet for guitar and double base. The melody interweaves and the rhythm exchanges between the two instruments, at times whispering softly and at times contrasting each other.

二ｏ一三年八月二十日 黃思瑜的改編曲〔馬蘭姑娘〕世界首演，在國家演奏廳由「品妍獨奏家樂團」演出, 低音提琴：鄭小妍，吉他：蘇孟風.。樂曲解說：馬蘭姑娘為阿美族民謠，又稱馬蘭情歌、馬蘭之戀。歌詞主要反映阿美族的女性追求愛情的執著與女性自主的婚姻價值觀。旋律悠柔 婉轉、輕輕細訴，歌曲背後寫的是一個動人心弦的阿美族愛情故事。此曲為吉他與低音提琴的二重奏，旋律的交織與節奏的 變化來回穿梭在此二樂器之間，時而低聲吟吟，時而歌詠對唱。.
